Enjoy a traditional Italian starter highlight: Bruschetta!
Crispy ciabatta bread topped with garlic, fresh diced tomatoes and seasoned with basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Olive oil is a must, of course - we recommend our award-winning DOP olive oil for its fruity nuances. Simple, delicious and authentic!
Perfect as a starter for a cozy dinner with friends or at a summer barbecue. Excellent with a glass of good white wine or Prosecco... che buono!
Ingredients for two people:
- 4 slices of ciabatta bread
- Le Colline DOP olive oil
- Le Colline Chili Oil
- 3-4 tomatoes, diced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- Fresh basil leaves
- oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Toast the bread slices in a hot pan or on the grill until golden brown.
- Place the diced tomatoes, the chopped garlic clove, a generous pinch of oregano and about 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Now distribute it on the slices of bread.
- Decorate with chopped basil.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the bruschette and...finito!
If you like it spicy, you can use our chili olive oil instead of the classic olive oil.
